GENERAL INFORMATION
The Brookings Harbor Festival of the Arts which began in 1993, is held the third weekend in August on the Boardwalk at the Port of Brookings Harbor, Brookings, Oregon.
It is a juried Festival of original arts and crafts. No manufactured, assembled,imported, or consumable items are allowed. Application to
the Festival does not guarantee acceptance. Selections are made on the basis of quality of work, maintaining a balance in the types of products and availability of space.
Deadline for applications is May 1st.
The 15th Annual Brookings Harbor Festival of the Arts will be held from 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday August 16th and 17th on the Boardwalk at the Port of Brookings Harbor,
Brookings, Oregon. Over 100 artisans will participate this year with original work including paintings in all mediums, photography, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, beadwork, metal sculpture,
stained glass, woodwork, and fabric art. Artist demonstrations will be held in the demonstration tent throughout the day and a free Children's Art Activity Corner will be provided by the Chetco Community Library.

Free entertainment is provided thoughout the day and includes music by Angel Sound and musical performances by the Jefferson State Ensemble and the Ramblers.
Food is available through participating vendors and Port restaurants. Admission, parking, and shuttle service are free and the event is handicapped accessible. Festival programs and maps will be available at the entrances and the Information Booth.
The Festival of the Arts is an independent nonprofit volunteer organization whose proceeds benefit organizations and individuals involved in developing the arts or beautifying the local area. The Festival takes place in Chetco Village which has over 30 unique retail shops, services, restaurant & lodging facilities. The Festival’s prime income is from Festival fees; however, tax deductible donations are accepted and contribute greatly to the ability of the Festival committee to carry out their mission in the local community.

An application for the Festival of the Arts is available on this website or you may write
or e-mail the Festival for a hard copy. Please read the application letter and application carefully.
We require a proof of liability insurance form be submitted with your application. Our insurance company informed us liability
may be covered through your homeowner's insurance or is available in a separate policy to cover all your shows during the year.
Fees are based on your product and your business. Please contact
your personal insurance company or any company to compare rules and rates.
